Tried to read con law today and it is just SO FREAKING BORING. It's like civ pro's older brother (Civ Pro is the way it is bc of Con Law, and Con Law was always a jerk so it shouldn't be a surprise).
I'm too bored to read any more. It is a mind numbing exercise to thoroughly analyze what self interested old hypocrites were thinking 225 years ago.
Things I have learned today that have nothing to do w/ Con Law (I have learned nothing new re. Con Law that I did not already know from AP American History):
- "Steam in bag" frozen microwave broccoli should be cooked 2 minutes less than the instructions to keep it from getting mushy.
- I hate mopping and sweeping floors
- I may be able to solve my issue of not having enough financial aid for living expenses by cashing out the retirement fund money that I earned from my job.
- Grades are out- I'm sticking w/ my strategy of not looking at them until later in the semester
- I will now buy all of my junkfood at the dollar store b/c junk food is junk food so there's no reason to pay higher prices (and the tortilla chips and salsa I brought today tasted just fine, although the salsa was a little salty). Not that I have $ to spend on junk food- but just in case.
- My tires get zero traction on snow.
- It is not necessary to wear a down coat as long as there are enough layers underneath the peacoat- (although wool does get crazy heavy when wet, so I haven't tried it yet.)
- I REALLY miss my DC friends. Not sure if it's bc I met them at a time when everyone was just into having fun, or bc they are just really fun people- but there was definitely a different kind of friendship in those chicks than I've found in the one's here....
- I would not mind having a nice guy friend here (girl friendless, to avoid drama)
- I would love to be bald to avoid having to schedule washing and conditioning my hair. Plus when it's twisted out- none of my hats fit.
